Woman's March In DC

Be The Change you want to See in the World (Gandhi)

I wrote to my big sister's and my brother....

I'm going to be part of History tomorrow, marching in D.C. with 400,000 other women. Taking a bus in at 4:30AM to march at 10AM along 3rd ave and Independence Street. Please Keep me in your hearts and send me good vibes protecting me along the way. I'm hopeful that my actions will make a better world for our children, ourselves and everyone who needs a little help now. Much love to you all, ALWAYS!!! Healing Yogini Bonnie Ringer-Swaha Devi

The Women’s March on Washington far exceeded our dreams. About 1.2 million people gathered in Washington, DC and another 3 million gathered in cities and towns across our nation, making the Women’s March the largest mass demonstration in U.S. history. With 5 million people marching globally, January 21st was likely one of the largest coordinated global protests in world history!

Together, we demonstrated a collective commitment to protect, defend and advance human rights, even in the face of adversity. The solidarity we saw on 1/21 will be necessary to protect our families, our communities and our planet in the coming weeks and months.

We thank you for your courage, your hard work, and your commitment.

We Made History! 1/21/2017

The goal of the annual marches is to advocate legislation and policies regarding human rights and other issues, including women's rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, disability justice, reproductive rights, the environment, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion, workers' rights and tolerance.

So often we think someone else will take care of things... that's not how it works really in life, if you see an injustis, and want things to be better; then it is your responsiblity to standup for those who can't help themselves. It's called Karma Service, it's called charity, it's called missionary work, it's called caring for our brother's and sister's and making the world a better place, just because you LIVED!
