for beginner and ongoing students


This is the beginning level of the Dharma Yoga series. Students will practice DY Surya Namaskar and be introduced to DY Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa Level I to warm up the body, bring flexibility to all muscles and joints, and wake up the nervous system. A gentle yet powerful series of balancing, stretching, back bending, twisting and inverted postures will follow. This practice ends with deep relaxation, breathing, and meditation exercises to remove impurities and bring a sense of well-being to the body and radiant peace to the mind.

Sri Yoga Sri Dharma Mittra is the creator of over 330 advanced Yoga Postures and Variation: a testament to his dedicated contribution to Yoga today.  The world-renowned masterpiece, The Master Yoga Chart of 908 Postures (published in 1984) was meticulously assembled from over 1,350 posture photos Sri Dharma Mittra took of himself.  At 70 years, Dharma’s life represents the divine grace of a sadhaka in the service to mankind thru the ethical, spiritual, and practical physical philosophy in action. Dharma Yoga “Life of a Yogi” Sadhaka, Bonnie Ringer, CYT, owner of Bonnie’s Yoga Shala in Nanuet, New York, has practiced for 25 years and taught for 13. Bonnie is a Registered Dharma Mittra Yoga Teacher having completed the 200 Hour Teacher Training Program.
